The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates who have registered for the examination can now download their admit cards from the official GATE 2025 website.

Important Dates for GATE 2025

  • Application Period: 28 August 2024 – 3 October 2024
  • Extended Application Period: 4 October 2024 – 7 October 2024 (with late fees)
  • Examination Dates: 1, 2, 15, and 16 February 2025
  • Admit Card Release Date: 7 January 2025
  • Result Declaration: March 2025

Application Fees

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,800
  • SC/ST/PwD: ₹900
  • Female Candidates (all categories): ₹900
  • Late Fees (Phase II):
    • General/OBC/EWS: ₹2,300
    • SC/ST/PwD: ₹1,400
    • Female Candidates (all categories): ₹1,400

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed or be in the final year of their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields such as B.E., B.Tech., B.Pharm., B.Arch., B.Sc. Research, M.Sc., M.A., MCA, M.E., M.Tech, or equivalent. For detailed eligibility criteria, refer to the official information brochure.

Photograph and Signature Guidelines

  • Photograph: Recent passport-sized color photo with a white background; the face should occupy at least 75% of the photograph.
  • Signature: Sign within a rectangular box of 2 cm x 7 cm on A4-sized paper using a black or blue pen.
  • Thumb Impression: Mark your left thumb impression within a rectangular box of 3 cm x 5 cm on A4-sized paper.

How to Download the GATE 2025 Admit Card

  1. Visit the official GATE 2025 website.
  2. Click on the “Download Admit Card” link.
  3. Log in using your Enrollment ID and password.
  4. Download and print the admit card for future reference.
